Termidor Foam for Termite Control

Termidor FOAM, a ready-to-use (RTU) foam formulation, contains the same active ingredient as Termidor SC – Fipronil. This foam is specifically labeled for use against termites and ants, making it an ideal choice for spot treatments. The foam expands rapidly, creating a dry foam that can be applied in voids, harborages, galleries, and nests where insects are found. The expansion ratio of the foam is 30:1, meaning that 1 oz. of product becomes approximately 1 quart of foam in about 5 seconds.

This product can be applied in and around residential and commercial structures, as well as on structural and non-structural elements that are prone to insect attack, such as fences, utility poles, landscape timbers, bridges, or under slabs. It can be applied from both the interior and exterior of the structure, according to the label directions. In some cases, the drilling of holes may be required to access certain harborages.

Termidor FOAM can help fulfill the Localized Interior (LI) component of an Exterior Perimeter/Localized Interior (EP/LI) treatment, also known as PerimeterPLUS. This foam formulation is effective against a range of pests, including termites (subterranean, drywood, dampwood, and arboreal), wood-destroying insects (Powder Post Beetles, Old House Borer, Wharf Borer), and ants (including foraging Carpenter ants, but excluding Fire, Harvester, Leaf cutter, and Pharaoh ants).

Termidor FOAM can be used in a variety of settings, including apartments, homes, food/feed handling establishments (non-food/feed areas), restaurants, hospitals and nursing homes (non-patient areas), hotels, motels, hobby greenhouses, interiorscapes, office buildings, and schools.
